About Dr. David Havens
Dr. David Havens is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Motor City Dental Partners (MCDP), where he oversees the operational strategy behind one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing multi-specialty dental support organizations. Fourteen years ago, David and his brother, Dr. Aaron Havens, founded Havens Orthodontics with a single practice and just eight employees. Guided by a commitment to quality patient care and community impact, they transformed their vision into one of the region’s largest multi-specialty organizations. As a board-certified orthodontist, David combines clinical expertise with operational leadership, developing the systems, infrastructure, and processes that allow affiliated practices to thrive. His collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement have been instrumental in building an organization that supports both providers and patients as MCDP continues to expand throughout the Midwest.

- Scalable Systems & Infrastructure: Leads the development of centralized operational processes, business infrastructure, and performance standards that enable practices to grow efficiently while allowing providers to remain focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

- Strategic Growth: Supports MCDP’s continued expansion by overseeing new practice integrations, operational readiness, vendor partnerships, and the implementation of best practices across the organization.
- Michigan-Made Leadership: Proudly earned his Bachelor of Science, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan, where he built the clinical and leadership foundation that continues to guide his work today.
